About Path Transit

Path Transit is a subsidiary of Keolis Downer who is Australia’s largest private provider of multi-modal public transport. We are proud to partner with Transperth, delivering a world class bus transport system for the Perth community.


Path Transit commenced operations in Perth in 1996 and currently operates in the North Eastern and Eastern suburbs from bus depots located in Malaga, Bayswater, Welshpool, Kalamunda and Redcliffe. We also operate services in the WA regional areas of Geraldton, Albany, Bunbury and Australind.


Keolis Downer is the largest private provider of multi-modal public transport in Australia. With more than 5500+ employees and a presence in five states, Keolis Downer enables 350 million passenger journeys per year. We operate and maintain Adelaide Metro train services, the largest tram network in the world in Melbourne (Yarra Trams), the light rail network on the Gold Coast (G:link), and more than 1,300+ buses in New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland. We also operate Newcastle’s integrated multimodal network, a first in Australia.

  • Our fleet

    Our fleet of over 400 vehicles is clean, modern and equipped with comforts including powerful air conditioning, tinted windows and plush seating.


    All our vehicles are routinely checked internally and externally for safety assurance and reliability.


    All our Transperth buses have on board CCTV to ensure our passengers’ safety, plus our in-built GPS technology for additional peace of mind. 


    All our Transperth buses are wheel chair accessible.
